Our Story

Anji Mountain was founded in 2003 by Darryl Gold, with little more than a bamboo rug and a dream. This began our journey to source and innovate the finest area rugs, chair mats, poufs, and other home furnishings.

Made from natural fibers and recycled materials, we are committed to producing a catalog from renewable sources. Style, quality, sustainability, and affordability—these are the tenets that underlie our success and guide us into the future.

We are partnered with GoodWeave, whose mission is to end child labor in the carpet industry, and Habitat for Humanity, dedicated to reusing and repurposing donated goods. We are dedicated to creating a positive impact in our community locally and globally.

Crafted With Premium Moso Bamboo and UV-Cured Coating

100-Percent Moso bamboo harvested in its native habitat in the Anji Mountains of China. Bamboo is remarkable in its renewability; many species can be harvested in as little as four years. Kiln-dried to the optimum moisture content to minimize cracking and warping.

Available in multiple sizes and Natural, Walnut, or Dark Cherry stain.

The foundation of Anji Mountain's Boot Tray Collection begins with a premium, heavy-duty, waterproof, recycled rubber tray or powder-coated metal tray, both featuring a classic scroll design.

Anji Mountain has added an easily removable insert that is available in a variety of stylish patterns and woven from natural, durable coir fiber. This insert adds a pretty punch to your décor and cleans up simply—just remove insert, shake out debris, hose off insert, air dry, and you are back in business.
