De Chanceny is at the same time authentic and modern : Our Crémants de Loire and Vouvray are made with passion by our Loire Valley cooperative winemakers in the respect of the “traditional method” but we strongly invite everyone to let their creativity speak, to be audacious or playful, to taste freely, according to one’s own taste - at the beach, during a picnic, as an aperitif, around a barbecue, in a cocktail party … – and to create one’s own best De Chanceny "moment".
The Loire valley is remarkable for the quality of its architectural heritage, its historic cities, its world-renowned castles and its winegrowing landscape ( inscribed since 2000 on the Unesco World Heritage List). This landscape is the cradle of the De Chanceny sparkling wines. Our "De Chanceny" rosé cuvée is made from grapes (cabernet franc and grolleau) grown on selected plots of clay-limestone soils at the south of Saumur.
Winemaking
De Chanceny takes a close look at its winemaking process. The grapes are manually harvested at the peak of the ripeness. Our winemakers attach great importance to the stage of blending by selecting the best grape juices to create the unique character of each of our sparkling wines. The bottles are stored in ideal conditions in our tuffastone galleries, with constant temperature. Our wines age for at least 12 months.
Food & Wine Pairing
This half bottle dry and fruity sparkling rosé will be enjoyed chilled (8-10°C) as an aperitif, with grilled sardines or a raspberry tart.
