The convenient, portable SKYFi Boombox offers great sound with dual-cone stereo speakers (also referred to as full-range speakers), featuring a great range of lows and highs. The SKYFi Boombox is powered by a 12-volt AC adapter (included) or six D batteries. You'll get a clear XM reception with the included high-gain antenna, which transmits the radio signal to a highly focused area. The 20-foot cable can be easily positioned for optimal reception, from sitting on a tabletop to mounting on a wall. It is recommended that the antenna be positioned near a south-facing window or outdoors with a clear view of the southeastern sky in order to receive the satellite signal. In some cases, it will be possible to receive XM's signal through standard home walls or a roof.
