Synopsis
The early exploration writing of Philip Sava bent the limits of post-modern fiction, revealing fantastical worlds that fooled many into believing they were, in fact, real. Sava’s kaleidoscopic collections, of which Memoirs of a Trespasser is the undeniable centerpiece, drew upon true experiences from his exotic travels but were infused with a hallucinatory inventiveness that set his work apart from others in the genre.
Though Sava had associates all over the world, he spent most of his time living in solitude on a ranch in southern Madagascar. When interrogated by the press on his cloistered lifestyle he notoriously answered, “Who needs love when there is still cognac in the glass?”

Josh Meyer came to perfume via a love for all things exquisite – be it whiskey, literature, cuisine, cigars, or music – balanced with a strong aversion to pretentious over-extravagance.
A discovery of niche perfumery sparked an unexpected passion, and he began his career as a perfumer in 2010. With his strong love of esoteric beauty, his enthusiasm for the field led him to seek out the finest raw materials from around the world. In his new laboratory, he further spent countless hours researching, re-working, refining and perfecting his unique approach to the craft. Now with a renowned brand, Imaginary Authors is well loved by perfume aficionados all over the world.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Imaginary Authors hopes to garner a new market with intensely creative branding, high-concept ideas, and – of course – high quality fragrances. Josh Meyer spends most of his time in the lab, continuing his development as a perfumer.
