Sempervivum arachnoideum is a succulent that forms a mat of tight rosettes of green or reddish leaves with white cobwebby hairs at the tips. It grows up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall and spreads up to 12 inches (30 cm) wide. Rosettes are up to 1.2 inches (3 cm) in diameter. Flowers are pink, star-shaped, up to 0.4 inches (1 cm) across, and appear in summer on thick, up to 5 inches (12.5 cm) tall stems.
