SIRUI P-224S Monopod with support feet

Multi-function video/photo monopod.

For videographers, the SIRUI P-224S is a light-weight alternative to clunky tripods. It has a stand spider, pans 360° and can be tilted in all directions up to 20°.

With a maximum height of 1.60 m and weight of just 1.3 kg, it supports photo or video equipment up to 8 kg.

20° in all directions with adjustable motion

A unique feature is the tilting function. The upper part of the monopod, above the support feet, can be tilted by up to 20° in all directions. To do this, simply release the lower blue twist lock, adjust the friction, and tilt. Any position between 0° to 20° can be fixed with the blue twist lock.

360° rotation for easy panoramas

The upper part with the foam rubber wrap can rotate by 360° for video sweeps and panoramic shots. To do this, release the upper blue twist lock (ring lock).

Practical, rubber twist leg-locks

Non-slip twist locks (ring locks) with grippy rubber. Half a turn is sufficient to allow the sections free movement. The locks can be disassembled for maintenance and servicing.

Support feet can be used as a fully functional table-top tripod

The support feet can be removed and used as a table-top tripod. Without the feet, the monopod becomes a normal monopod that can be used with a rubber foot or a metal spike.

SIRUI's PS series of monopods are lightweight, extremely compact and ideal to use. Especially for photographers, the PS series offers a real alternative to larger tripods. The 4 sections can be fixed using twist locks to ensure secure support. The monopod also has a spreader with integrated stabilising feet. The spreader can be detached and used as a floor or table tripod. The monopod can also be used without the spreader, for which purpose it is supplied with a rubber foot and twist-out metal spike. A 360° system ensures smooth and soft movement and panning. The ball joint allows it to tilt by up to 20° in all directions. A wrist strap is a SIRUI standard as is a cold weather grip made from soft and grippy foam rubber. The tubes of the P-224S are made from 8-layer carbon fibre.
